Estuary TV
editThere's talks of That's TV purchasing the now defunct local channel for Grimsby, Estuary TV.[1]
An announcement was made on Estuary TV's website that as of 1st September 2018, the local TV licence for this area will be run by the national network operator That’s TV. [2]
That's TV Music
editi have seen a new tv channel called That's TV Music on Freeview channel 92 so this should be included to the article Katherine Northey (talk) 18:43, 14 April 2022 (UTC)
- I think there's a strong argument for separate articles for the local channels and the national channel. Rillington (talk) 14:24, 17 April 2022 (UTC)
This criticism was mentioned on RXTV Info therefore must be important, much more than something from Twitter which a lot of the time you are not allowed to use as a reference
editAccording to RXTV Info, That's Media has also annoyed sci-fi/genre fans by acquiring their favourite shows only to show the episodes out of order and also, because schedules are only confirmed 24 hours before transmission, shift the transmission time at short notice, so that fans tune in expecting an episode to go out in primetime and then finding out that the episode has been moved to a graveyard slot. In 2024,[1] they got criticism after promoting the fact that Home and Away would be broadcast from the start on That's TV2, only to dump the series[2] entirely less than two weeks later. In addition to Home and Away, the Australian version of Would I Lie To You? did not last very long on the channel, even though they promoted the fact that it was the first time it was shown in the UK.[3] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.154.169.169 (talk) 16:05, 22 June 2024 (UTC)
- ...especially since the paragraph above this RXTV piece is "In Spring 2023 the channel faced criticism on social media, when it opted to rename "Kay Mellors Fat Friends" to "James Cordens Fat Friends" with viewers" those viewers looking like is was one Lucy Adamson @Lucyaddz who wrote: "Is there a reason why the name of Kay Mellors Fat Friends has been changed to "James Cordens Fat Friends"? -very disrespectful. Everybody knew who Kay Mellor was! A lack of respect too, for the great females who worked on the show" with the other reference being a twitter post from @ThatsTVOfficial saying James Corden's Fat Friends" is being broadcast. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.154.169.169 (talk) 16:15, 22 June 2024 (UTC)
