editThe whole article is an ad for theladders.com and is probably watched every day by the people who work their to keep it an advertisement. Is Wikipedia in the business of providing free advertising?
Which section of the article prompted this tag? Abe Froman 13:00, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
- I removed the tag because the original tagger did not justify it.
The entire article reads like an advertisement, and since you are an employee of the company, you should not have removed it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Brownkit (talk • contribs) 14 August 2007.
- I concur that the article looks like an advertisement. Let's have a wider discussion, for instance at WP:COIN, before taking it out. I removed some extra links to the subject web site since one link is usually found to be sufficient. EdJohnston 04:34, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
- I don't think Point of View is the problem here, nor do I think it's a Conflict of Interest, it looks like it is a Copy Problem, and this article just needs some rewriting. --MahaPanta (talk) 17:56, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
I read this and first thing I felt is that it looks like an advertisement. The fact that they charge BOTH candidates and companies is buried inside a huge wall of text. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 161.69.163.25 (talk) 14:17, 14 January 2015 (UTC)
I have made a few changes along with adding the Advertisement tag. If TheLadders PR edits it again, what is the formal procedure to report them? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 161.69.163.25 (talk) 15:02, 14 January 2015 (UTC)

Reports of Widespread Fraud
editIf this article is going to show a semblance of balance someone ought to note reports of fraud. For example, http://blogs.jobdig.com/diggings/2010/01/27/the-ladders-is-one-gigantic-scam-that-preys-on-unsuspecting-job-seekers and http://corcodilos.com/blog/1390/theladders-job-board-salary-fraud. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.171.109.26 (talk) 01:10, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
- The fraudulent nature of the site is well known in the staffing industry and there should be a "controversy" sections or something along those lines. Unfortunately the company has a dedicated employee monitoring this page which means any negative edits would likely cause more trouble than it's worth. --NEMT (talk) 03:03, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
- Why not ask the proprieters for some statistics, like whether they ever found a job for anybody? WHPratt (talk) 13:11, 18 August 2011 (UTC)

Removal of POV information
editI've removed all POV information and most of the info on the president, as this article is about the company, not its founder. I have removed the advertising tag as such. N419BH 05:35, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
