Typo?
editI notice in the quoted text, it says "sencondly", which should be "secondly" — is that a new typo, or is it in the original text? --StuartBrady (Talk) 22:51, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Comic.jpg
editFile:The Adventures of Captain Comic gameplay.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:04, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

External Download Links
editThe existing link to the dosgamesarchive download page for this game has the game for free download just like it should, but it doesn't work for new OSs without the user being proficient with a DOS emulator. I propose adding a link to the DOSome Games: Captain Comic page for a more accessible game download. Any thoughts/objections? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lmaxsmith (talk • contribs) 22:37, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
- I suggest a link to RGB Classic Games because a) it has all 5 versions of the game, and b) it can be played online in a browser window if the visitor doesn't know about DOSBox. And if they don't, the "Compatibility Guide" link explains that the game can be played in DOSBox, so even that is kind of covered. For full disclosure, RGB is my website. - I suggest we have none of it. We can't link to download pages for copyright-infringing material. SchuminWeb (Talk) 06:04, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
- Neither site links to copyright-infringing material. The Adventures of Captain Comic is shareware. DOSGuy (talk) 03:54, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you, DOSGuy. I'd say go ahead and put yours up. It definitely has information and resources valuable to the user. DOSome Games is my site, so of course I'd love a link there as well, but the RGB Classic Games link to play online in a browser worked fine for me so I'd understand if we want to minimize links to keep only the classicdosgames. I think there may be value to providing the DOSome Games link as well users can play offline and perhaps some users' browsers may not support the Java applet of the browser version. Thoughts?
