Alias
editHi, this is a response to your revert of my edit to The Afters' infobox where I put "Blisse" under the alias parameter. (I'm mentioning this here instead of on The Afters' talk page because this is actually more related to the use of the template than to the band's page.) I know that the parameter itself says "alias" in source mode, but on the actual page it shows up as "also known as". The page for the infobox says "alias" is for "listing official stage names for the act or solo artist other than the name in the |name= parameter". Blisse is definitely not an alias, but it is another official name for The Afters, though it's not used anymore. So "also known as Blisse" isn't really wrong, as the were once officially known as Blisse. Sorry I'm not the best at explaining my edits; I hope I'm making sense here. Thank you for your time. :) WonderBuono! (talk) 23:21, 18 April 2014 (UTC)
- While they were known as Blisse prior to official recording or anything major. See the U2 article for similar situations. Walter Görlitz (talk) 23:36, 18 April 2014 (UTC)
- While the World Is Wonderful is official, is it not? The album itself may not be notable for its own article but I don't think that matters in the context of this article. WonderBuono! (talk) 04:05, 20 April 2014 (UTC)
- It is an official album. What's the point? Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:33, 20 April 2014 (UTC)
- You said they were known as Blisse prior to official recording. That album was released under the name Blisse. WonderBuono! (talk) 07:11, 20 April 2014 (UTC)
- Ah. I should rephrase that. While the World Is Wonderful is a self-released recording. Walter Görlitz (talk) 13:02, 20 April 2014 (UTC)
