Agnetha

edit

This article currently states that Agnetha may be Fenrir, also that she is Freyja. Only one can be true. Fenrir is male so I assume the part about being Fenrir should be removed.

I also don't remember any of this information being revealed in any of the episodes (including the part about possibly working with Fenrir) -- can you point me to which ones?

Finally, 'Freya' should be 'Freyja'.

Okay, found it here: http://www.tv3.co.nz/Feb-24---Godesses-are-amongst-us/tabid/1724/articleID/69114/Default.aspx
I've updated the article now. Removed 'Queen of the Norse Pantheon' as Freyja isn't. I also need clarification of the association with Fenrir because I haven't seen this reference in the episodes or anywhere in publication. I've currently left this as 'citation needed'.

The "Fenrir" reference is probably from the name of her vodka company (that Anders does PR for).Barsoomian (talk) 19:27, 21 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Gaia

edit

I'm tempted to link Gaia to Gaia (mythology) as it's pretty damn obvious she's a goddess, and my money says Frigg (who could be seen as the equivalent of the Greek Gaia). The fact that Keisha Castle-Hughes is probably the best known actor in the show adds weight. I could cite this review so it's not just WP:OR.... By the way, if anyone does find some quotable reviews, the article could really use some in a "Reception" section. Barsoomian (talk) 09:56, 31 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

So I was probably wrong about Gaia; as she's part Maori she can't be a fullblood Norse, a precondition to be a goddess according to the series' mythology. (Unless of course she's a Maori goddess.) Barsoomian (talk) 05:40, 22 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
I'm not a big Marvel comics fan, but this relevant: Odin_(comics)#Fictional_character_biography: "Odin becomes ruler of Asgard, and eventually falls in love with Gaea, in time becoming the father of the Thunder God Thor", where Gaea is Marvel's version of the Greek goddess Gaia. Obviously not part of Norse myth. Barsoomian (talk) 04:04, 25 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
Marvel's Gaea is also Marvel's Jord, Norse Earth goddess and mother to Thor. Maybe Gaia is really Jord. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.140.166.79 (talk) 20:51, 26 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
Keisha Castle-Hughes is an actress, not an actor, in case you hadn't noticed! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.197.15.138 (talk) 00:27, 12 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
A lot of female actors prefer the gender neutral term. It also makes it simpler to discuss the male actors together. Barsoomian (talk) 02:38, 12 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Well, after #209, she is certainly a goddess -- though not necessarily Frigg, since if she were, that would be THE END OF THE WORLD and the series. I don't think the show is going to change setting to Asgard. So, we still cannot yet assign an authoritative "Goddess" name to Gaia until she's been naked and struck by lightning in the forest. Some IP editor added some viewer numbers. They were unsourced, so had to be deleted. Anyone have a source? Barsoomian (talk) 09:29, 23 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Image

edit

The previous image was: I replaced it with this:

It's the same size (width, and in kB anyway) but shows both the text and the characters' faces much more clearly. It has the same title graphic and cast (with the addition of Olaf). To say that it's specific to season 1 is true, but so was previous image. Neither actually says "Season 1". I'm pretty sure all the brothers will be in season 2 when that's made, and if not the title card would also change. The image can be changed if that happens. "Gutless and useless" is a bit rough. Zeb may be foolhardy, but he is loyal friend to Axl, particularly as the second series opens. Strypey 09:25, 1 March 2012 (NZDT)

A pretty important character to leave out, particularly as she is mentioned in a number of the other character descriptions. Strypey 09:25, 1 March 2012 (NZDT)

Plot

edit

The "Plot" section needs to be expanded. I'd say one or two paragraphs for each series. Currently a lot of plot is being put into the character list. That should be cut back to a few lines for each character at the same time.

I'll eventually get around to this, just thought I'd mention it here in case some else wants to do it in the meantime.

A general note: we shouldn't have speculation in any part of this. Just what has actually happened and been confirmed on the show. Who exactly Gaia is/will be, for instance. Barsoomian (talk) 02:06, 18 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

The "Characters" section is still growing way out of proportion. After I've caught up on the last episode I'll cut that down and expand the plot section. Barsoomian (talk) 23:56, 23 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Michelle

edit

Who says she's dead? We haven't seen the goddess spirit leave her body, and who knows, maybe all her messing with Yggdrasil did something and she will heal herself? We should wait for the next episode before declaring her dead.

Series Finale

edit

Space in Canada just advertised the series finale not the season finale. Michelle and the series may be dead! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.84.207.67 (talk) 04:57, 25 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
