"Based on"

edit

In the beginning of the article it says this is not based on the movie of the same name. It is, it is set in the same universe with the same characters. so it is based on the movie.I will fix this but if you revert it please give a reason here. Sean 03:24, 22 June 2012 (UTC)

Technically, the game is NOT based on the film. "Based on" suggests that the plot of the game parallels the plot of the film, which it does not (the events of this game take place after those of the film). The game is an epilogue, so the proper terminology in this case is "tie-in." I will re-word the paragraph accordingly. Zargabaath 9:32, 28 June 2012 (UTC)

DLC

edit

I purchased the game from Gamestop and received the Rhino Challenge pre-order bonus content, which after downloading I discovered also unlocks Spider-Man's "Original Costume," which appears to be the red/blue suit from the 2002 film. I've searched online, but have not found any source that specifically details this feature of the DLC. If anyone can find such info, it might be worth adding to the article. No it's true you get The 2002 costume with all dlc. Sean 05:25, 30 June 2012 (UTC)

iOS/Android version

edit

Just need to say that the Gameloft "Amazing Spider-Man" game is completely different from the Beenox one. The Lizard is the main antagonist. It's more like one of the older games with a new plot, but I don't really know enough to comment. 76.10.134.195 (talk) 13:18, 16 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

PC reviews?

edit

The reception section doesn't list reviews for the PC for some reason. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.122.20.56 (talk) 07:30, 26 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
