Critical reaction

edit

The article requires some objective reviews.
A meeting with Bush, Presidential Torturer-in-Chief, does not qualify as a recommendation.

Added two. Yes, that is ironic! Ghostofnemo (talk) 01:36, 5 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

English translator?

edit

Did Yair Reiner also do the English translation? My English language copy has him credited as the translator, but I'm not sure if he is being credited as the original translator (Korean to French) or the English translator. Ghostofnemo (talk) 01:16, 5 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Book review names him as the English translator, not the French translator. Ghostofnemo (talk) 01:30, 5 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

>> According to Victor Cha, President Bush considered the book to be "one of the most important books he read during his presidency."

Bush himself mentions this in his memoir: "One of the most influential books I read during my presidency was Aquariums of Pyongyang by the North Korean dissident Kang Chol-hwan." 85.146.96.60 (talk) 07:27, 2 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
