Rating and article status
editThe article seems to have settled down with no significant edits for about a year so I have taken the trouble to clean it up in accordance with WP:MOS by improving its structure and formatting. I have also improved some of the content as there were still traces of POV in certain statements. All previous posts on the talk page were more than a year old so I have archived them.
The article has been rated as start-class (see above) according to the WP:CRIC B-class criteria. It could do with more citations, particularly from non-ACS sources. The article could do with a useful image or two, if possible, but I think there is now sufficient content as we can see what the ACS is about, how it originated and, as summarised by the guides list, the work which the members have done. --Jack | talk page 16:54, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
Publications
editIn point of fact only selected books are given out with the subscription. The Match Scores for instance, are not. THE WWoFCC was published by the Hamlyn group and actually ran to two editions, selling quite well. The backwards going books of inter-war match scores by Jim Ledbetter were also, originally at least, a commercial publication.ASMF (talk) 15:58, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
