editIt had formerly been known as the Pinstripe Club, where John Profumo was first introduced to Christine Keeler, a meeting which led to the Profumo affair.
- They were always supposed to have been introduced at a swimming party at Cliveden by Dr. Stephen Ward. Are you sure this wasn't just a convenient rendezvous for their later meetings? Valetude (talk) 13:30, 9 August 2016 (UTC)
