This needs to be rewritten, a lot of the content has been derived from Ian Dury's article and is hardly relevant. 95.195.83.105 (talk) 14:14, 5 December 2011‎ (UTC)Reply

Yes agree there is a lot of overlap. Maybe deserves a major trimming, as well as re-organisation? Martinevans123 (talk) 22:30, 30 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

All of the images, apart from the one in the info box, are of Ian, not the band. Images of the band, especially post-2000, would greatly improve the article. Martinevans123 (talk) 13:11, 30 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

"Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll"

edit

Unless someone can provide some verification of the assertion that the song "Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll" introduced the term into the English language, the claim should be removed. I am confident that no such evidence will be forthcoming, as I know for a fact that the term (at least a slight variation of it: "Sex, Drugs & Rock 'n' Roll") was in common usage well before the release of this record – in fact I frequently used the term myself, as did many other of my friends and colleagues in the music business, and it seems evident that Dury simply used a common phrase as the title for his song. The myth may have be of enough interest to be raised elsewhere, but as it is a myth it has no place in a factual Wikipedia article. 86.24.45.205 (talk) 01:08, 10 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
