Initial comments

• The lead summarises the article well, but it doesn't mention why there were no Boat Races from 1915-1919. Don't worry, I know it's because of WWI (and the reader can assume that too), but it would be nice to add as per the 'broadness in coverage' part of the criteria

  I'm not sure when you read this article, but I see "As a result of the First World War, this was the first race for six years" in the lead. In any case, hopefully it suffices. The Rambling Man (talk) 08:54, 1 February 2015 (UTC)

• "during the conflict, at least 42 Blues were killed," - are these both Oxford and Cambridge blues combined?

• "For the twelfth year the umpire was old Etonian Frederick I. Pitman" - is it neutral to call him old, or is 'Old Etonian' a term?

  Old Etonian is common terminology for someone who attended Eton College... see, for example, List of Old Etonians born in the 20th century.... The Rambling Man (talk) 08:54, 1 February 2015 (UTC)

On hold

Just the minor stuff, otherwise the article (along with the other hundred Boat Races) is looking great. I realise that this is the shortest review I have ever done, but I have to point out that there is virtually nothing wrong (prose wise) with this article. As with any Boat Race, the content is all there and the references are in order. Can't wait to review more! Please keep them coming! ☯ Jaguar ☯ 21:58, 31 January 2015 (UTC)
