Notability
editThere are entries for http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Ledger and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia, so a smaller publication is equally worthy of notability. AmboyBeacon (talk) 18:38, 27 September 2011 (UTC)
I'm not sure this newspaper/web site meet notability requirements. Peak Circulation? Page views/links? The Star Ledger is a nationally recognized paper, NJ Today is not. As the above use has the same name as one of the papers absorbed into CMD, I have to wonder i there is a COI violation in here. Sodoff Baldrick (talk) 00:56, 31 March 2014 (UTC)
NJToday.net is listed in Google News and showed about 108,000 archived stories. Monroe Cole (talk) 05:45, 7 May 2014 (UTC)
Sodoff Baldrick is apparently confused... AmboyBeacon is not among the papers absorbed into CMD, it was a competitor. CMD published the Atom Tabloid and the Perth Amboy Gazette. Talk:NJToday.net 73.178.42.213 (talk) 09:12, 9 May 2014 (UTC)
AmboyBeacon is not published by the same company that produces NJTODAY (or its previous titles). Somehow they got the domain AmboyBeacon.com to link to their news but the AmboyBeacon is a different newspaper printed & distributed weekly. AmboyBeacon (talk) 04:02, 20 May 2014 (UTC)
Not according to this very wiki page in which Amboy Beacon is listed as one of the papers absorbed into CMD. As AmboyBeacon (the account) has been active on the page in the past, why hasn't that piece of information been removed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.156.22.254 (talk) 14:27, 22 October 2014 (UTC)

Ref Improvement/Third Party Tags
editThe page, if determined to be notable, is in dire need of a spruce up. More references are needed. As well, the page needs references to other sources outside of the Website it is linking to.
Hyperlink error
editThe hyperlink noting NJTODAY founder Lisa McCormick jumps to a page for Vermont folksinger Lisa McCormick and not New Jersey political figure Lisa McCormick. The former has nothing to do with NJTODAY. 173.54.218.113 (talk) 02:49, 23 March 2024 (UTC)
