Australian airdates

edit

Your November Australia Airdates are incorrect. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:1C0:C800:9514:F0DD:AE68:2655:1914 (talk) 20:41, 21 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Right now, Zap2It is the only source we have. If some of those air dates are incorrect, then a new source needs to be provided. (See also: WP:Verifiability, not truth.) --IJBall (contribstalk) 21:17, 21 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
It's also hard to verify whether they aired or not since we're not in Australia and therefore don't have the channel. Knight Squad, for example, is a different case, because we can verify nothing aired on November 3 and 10, as indicated by there being no Knight Squad entry in the Showbuzz Daily ratings for those dates. The same goes for other US series—they can be verified. Amaury (talk | contribs) 21:20, 21 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Help with my episode synopsis been deleted

edit

Season 2 of this has recently been released on netflix in my country. Me been curious came here to read the synopsis for the season in question. It wasn't present just acters and roles. I decided to add this because why not help build the artical from been a stub class and thus help wikipedia in my own little way, and I keep having a user revert my changes with 0 reason other than flagging me as a disruptive editor and stating "you may be blocked from editing"

I have tried to ask what was wrong with no reponce but another reversion of my edits.

I would like some support with this. I have tried to keep what I typed short and concise without to many plot spoilers, as you see with other TV series; though usualy the responce to doing this wrong is another user to further improve what another started not completly remove. Watch the episode you wish to write a summary for. Write a summary in your own words about what you saw. If it doesn't include spoilers, it likely isn't a good summary of what happened in the episode. DO NOT copy teasers blurbs from episode guides. First they just give a flavor about what is planned without giving details which isn't a summary of what happened in the episode, and second it is a WP:COPYVIO to just copy this from an episode guide. Its what i did using my own knowledge after watching to avoid as you said potentially coping the de facto one created by the company. Even if what I put wasn't the most detailed; still doesn't explain why it was erased twice rather than just a prod, ooh can you add more detail Ensar'da (talk) 05:59, 29 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
What you wrote looks like an episode guide teaser, not a summary of what actually happened in the episode. WP:TVPLOT has more info. Less than 100 words raises concerns of copying from episode guides particularly when the content looks like it came from an episode guide. Geraldo Perez (talk) 06:09, 29 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Ok didn't try to have to many spoliers, in the past when i've done that another user has striped it right back. So confusing to know what to do.

See WP:SPOILER and point to that if content is deleted solely because it contains spoilers. There are lots of editors with differing ideas of what is the right thing to do, some of it wrong, and sometimes that leads to conflicting advice. Geraldo Perez (talk) 06:44, 2 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
