Hey there everyone (all.. one of you?). I see this page is marked for something, but it shouldn't be deleted. Cassandra Complex was a pretty influential band in the 90's, i saw them in Munich (at Circus Krone?)with Girls Under Glass around 1991/92. I don't know a whole lot more about 'em, though they were fairly well thought of in the scene at the time. Moreso than some other bands that have large writeups. (not that the others don't deserve them, but for example Armageddon Dildos were much smaller.) 66.82.9.9222:50, 14 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

i've been told by a dj from the old scene that cassandra complex was joined by andrew eldritch of the sisters of mercy under an alias. i've heard this on several other occasions aswell but i've found no physical proof yet. Anyone else know anything about that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.92.117.233 (talk) 08:56, 3 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

I see someone has added a COI tag to this, which is completely reasonable, since I've been editing this and I am one of the band. However for the avoidance of doubt, I am also a Wikipedia editor of many years standing with hundreds of edits to my name, so it's not like I'm just coming here to astroturf. I've also taken care to provide sources for the things I've added, and tried to steer away from any personal opinions or hype.Rodneyorpheus (talk) 17:14, 25 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
This page looks pretty factual to me. No hype, no marketing, no opinions. I found it pretty useful when I dug out an old Cassandra Complex album which I had forgotten I liked, and looked on the page to find the names of their other albums. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:23C7:A29E:5001:505A:4914:62CA:BE5B (talk) 21:42, 26 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

As this article is about music, I see no problem with also listing Rodney Orpheus' solo musical works. But the article about him was deleted, which it would not have been if he met notability requirements for writers. Therefore I've removed the bibliography as unrelated to the topic of this article. That I think resolves any COI issues with the article (not saying he added them, I haven't checked), so I think the tag on the talk page is sufficient and I've removed the tag from the article.
Of course, things change, and he may well meet notability requirements as a writer now. If so, I suggest that a new article be drafted, approved, and moved into place at Rodney Orpheus. Skyerise (talk) 12:57, 22 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
