editCan we please bring the records and most money won section? This was extremely useful and informative — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.242.58.253 (talk) 03:30, 16 December 2021 (UTC)
Champs vs. Stars (naming)
editWhat is everyones opinions on the naming for the Champs vs. series? I thought Champs vs. Pros, Champs vs. Stars, and Champs vs. Stars (season 2) worked for following Wikipedia's naming convention for television series. It was changed and moved since, and now we have the second version of the show and first Champs vs. Stars called Champs vs. Stars (season 2), and the 2nd season of it(3rd overall) called (season 3). Also was temporarily a separate page for the overall special separate from the main Challenge page, I feel like there isn't a lot of information to put there, and the sort section we have here should be fine, but it could work to be split if there was actual sourcable content to put, and not just repeating information from individual seasons articles. - This is very confusing as it goes against what ever major tv site has.
- IMDB https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7498290/
- The TV DB https://www.thetvdb.com/?tab=season&seriesid=337199&seasonid=758919&lid=7
- and Trakt https://trakt.tv/shows/the-challenge-champs-vs-stars all have it as
- Champs v Pro's
- Champs v Stars Season 1
- Champs v Stars Season 2 (the season about to start)
- We should be consistent with them.Dimspace (talk) 23:15, 20 April 2018 (UTC)
- I agree, consistency with them and the sources, I didn't want to edit war with the changes that were being made and pages being reverted, so I was trying to get a discussion/consensus before moving everything again. I'm hoping for a few more responses before I do any changes. WikiVirusC(talk) 18:53, 2 May 2018 (UTC)

What the eff?
editAfter reading dozens of screens of descriptions, I still have no idea what the challenges actually are. Chess games? Foot races? Fist fights? Breath holding?
The most I found was "cast members are given points for performing certain tasks, such as cursing or "hooking up."
They swear at each other and have sex? Who wins? Verdana♥Bold 06:34, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
- Each season is different and there are a wide variety of challenges. Looking at individual challenge pages should give you each specific challenge that was done that season. The points for cursing or hooking up, as mentioned, was specifically to "fantasy challenge" that used to be available for fans to participate in on mtv's website. While some challenges do repeat, a lot are unique to their seasons. There are some eliminations that are repeated frequently, and perhaps a list of some on this main page could be used. Theme and format by season title
editI feel like the section has become especially long winding and will only get longer with newer seasons being added. Some of the seasons in the section are just really long, don't have enough detail or are poorly written. Given that the format can already be found on the specific season page, what are everyone's thoughts on either collapsing or removing the section? Particularly in response to the recent maintenance tags added to the page. RealLifed (talk) 04:42, 8 June 2021 (UTC)
Reckless Purging of this Page
editWhat is going on with removing information from this page? Other people use this page too. Removing tables and records is very rude. Things were moved to other pages and then removed from those pages too. Nothing was wrong with having the info on this page. Please restore the following info to this page:
- Table of every cast member - 5 timers club - Table of most money won - Challenge Records
Please stop ruining this page. Thanks 100.1.182.11 (talk) 03:34, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
Please bring back records!
editCan we please add back the records section with most money earned, etc.. This was extremely useful and informative! 69.242.58.253 (talk) 03:31, 16 December 2021 (UTC)

Restructure of page=
editGiven how spread out The Challenge franchise is becoming (Main Show, Spring Break, Champs vs Stars, All Stars, War of the Worlds) - It might be worth restructuring the pages associated with The Challenge.
I would consider having a franchise-specific page (examples: Survivor (franchise) or NCIS (franchise)) which has an overview of the entire franchise, with separate pages for the Flagship series, Champs vs Stars series, War of the Worlds series which then each spin-off to season specific pages.

Real World/Road Rules/Challenge template split discussion
editI have proposed splitting up the {{RWRR}}
template that is used on this and other related pages. You can find the discussion on the talk page for the template. Posting here to bring some people to the discussion. Thank you. WikiVirusC(talk) 19:25, 8 June 2022 (UTC)

OMG
editSamsung TV Plus has a 24-hour channel of the Challenge. I started watching this on MTV several years ago and loved it. However, this 24-hour channel shows the same ones over and over with the swame people doing the same things every season. Drinking, whining, crying, fighting, hopping from one bed to another, etc. 159.117.175.145 (talk) 17:12, 6 November 2023 (UTC)
