Melanie Phillips' defence of authenticity
editI've edited the somewhat ridiculous description of Melanie Phillips as a "scholar" (she's a polemical journalist who has never worked in academia, and her highest qualification is an MA in English, which is hardly relevant) to the more neutral "writer". I'm not sure more extensive revision isn't required. Her opinion may be worth mentioning, but she should not be quoted alongside the likes of the Wassersteins as if her opinion carried equal authority on a matter where they are expert and she is far from it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.10.100.97 (talk) 18:19, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
