An editor made a good faith effort to explain the origins of the title, but it was reverted.[1] It is generally a good idea to explain the episode title but four paragraphs is a bit much. Instead of explaining the entire origin of the expression it would be better to explain it more succinctly and to refer to the article Alea iacta est for more of the historical details. Try to keep it to the details that are specifically relevant to this episode, ie the significance of the phrase, that it refers to the point of no return.
The episode also makes other references to William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar.
It would be great if the article had a Production section explaining more about the writing and development of the episode and that would also be a good place to include a brief explanation of the title. (I might even try and do it myself eventually if no one gets to it before then.) -- 109.76.203.218 (talk) 09:34, 6 November 2021 (UTC)
