"Midnight Clear" single?
editApparently an anon from Bridgeton, Missouri has accused me of being a Nazi, lazy and an arrogant bully because I removed a "single" called "Midnight Clear" from this article, twice. Just because a band releases a song doesn't make it a single. It doesn't have to be released to radio, which I mistakenly stated in a revert of the information to the article, but that would certainly help. It should be definitely be verified by a reliable, secondary source. For instance, Jesus Freak Hideout clearly lists "Midnight Clear Digital Single, 2012 (independent)", but there's no discussion of it other than that entry. I can buy almost every song individually on iTunes, so by extension, every song is a single. If the song isn't released as part of an album, it's a non-album track, not necessarily a single. Also, we should only be discussing notable music. So if some reviewer discusses it, then it's notable, even if it's a non-album track. I don't want to have total control, which Bridgeton also accused me of, but we do have to maintain guidelines for all articles on Wikipedia, and I know a few of them and try to keep articles I watch within those guidelines. We're not here to promote the band or their music. We're here to discuss notable information about notable subjects. Wikipedia is not a collection of trivia about this or any other band. David Crowder Band
editThere is plenty of information about David Crowder Band in its dedicated article. There is no reason to include so much information about that band in this post; that's what links are for. I removed the reference to the performance of DCB's last album. Mcgrant (talk) 13:52, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
