User friendly!
editI have read part of this book: it's very clear and easy to understand (from a layman's point of view). I think we should add something about its readability and superb writing style. This is just an idea; I'll come back with more thoughts when I finish the book. Wikiisawesome 11:33, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
- The first section of the book, which covers the first chapter, is extremely informative, and opens up new theories which I am interested in exploring. I will put more here as I complete the book. TrekCaptainUSA (talk) 16:21, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
Trivia Section
editI suggest deleting the Trivia section. The reference to the movie has no real significance to the article. Master Shake 9 21:25, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
- Go ahead, WP:TRIVIA encourages it. --Closedmouth 11:25, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:TheElegantUniverse.jpg
editImage:TheElegantUniverse.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Funding
editDoes anyone have any idea what the Funding section is referring to? It's just a list of organisations, I gather they gave some money to someone for something but what? Did they advertise in the TV show? That doesn't seem notable. 58.96.94.12 (talk) 08:27, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
Errata
editThe Errata section seems incredibly unimportant, and too long even if it does belong. The minor details of the birth of Polish physicists doesn't seem to be relevant to the book as a whole, I'd say. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.220.252.12 (talk) 01:30, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
- I agree. OriumX (talk) 01:22, 6 August 2014 (UTC)
- I went ahead and removed that section. If someone disagrees please discuss it here. OriumX (talk) 01:24, 6 August 2014 (UTC)
