Correct Title of the Show

edit

I recently corrected the title of the show to include "The", i.e, "The Felony Squad". The change was undone in the most prominent places in a recent edit without any justification given. In the comments to the original edit, I listed the justifications for the change. As that's not a very user friendly place for that information, I am putting it here for future reference.

Sources showing that the correct name is "The Felony Squad" are:

This is how the name appears in the title card in the opening credits (available at time of writing at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=La2Pt8Alt8w]. The closing credits are the same.
Select episodes have a voice-over in the closing credits that have "The". One such episode, "A Date with Terror" (season 1, episode 5 according to IMDB), can currently be found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHd0cXSwYIc.
The show's IMDB page has the "The". As IMDB is not considered a reliable source (per WP:IMDB-EL/Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources), this doesn't help much. However, the main picture used on that page is a print advertisement for the show. That should be considered reliable. It has the "The".

It's possible that the editor removed the "The" from the show name as the article name itself is currently "Felony Squad". I did not change the article name as that requires moving the article which I understand should not be taken lightly. There are a large number of articles where the article name doesn't match the corresponding text in the article. I assume this is for similar reasons. Of course, if someone chooses to rename the article, that would be a good thing. Wantnot (talk) 05:26, 27 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
