MOS:PLOT

edit

As of this revision, the "plot" section is 1,284 words. I know there's no set "maximum" but the film project suggests 400-700. I think this should be about halved. – Muboshgu (talk) 17:03, 21 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Not a "revision", a submission. Not a film, a novel.
As a first edition it should be commended. Clearly Marblespire has put considerable effort into producing this summary, and I do not consider your slapping a template on it, less than three hours later, is in the best interest of this project. That is why I removed it. — | Gareth Griffith-Jones |The WelshBuzzard| — 17:44, 21 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
I don't know where you get off calling my putting a tag on an article and starting a discussion thread on the talk page a "test". I think Marblespire did a nice job on the summary, except that it's too long. It's a valid criticism which is why the tag exists. – Muboshgu (talk) 18:18, 21 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
Keep calm, Muboshgu. I clicked on the wrong edit summary in my haste to rejoin my real life. — | Gareth Griffith-Jones |The WelshBuzzard| — 17:23, 22 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
If you guys want to cut it down, please do. I got it as dense and compact as I could, but having someone else trim for you is always easier than self-editing. Marblespire (talk) 21:24, 2 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Solifon?

edit

The company Solifon is mentioned twice in the Plot narrative as if (article) readers should know what it is. If it's Balder's former employer (the Silicon Valley company with the "prestigious job" that he left,) then it should be mentioned there (in the first sentence.) If not, then its connection / identification should be mentioned at the first reference. --Eliyahu S Talk 17:04, 29 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
