editI didn't see it mentioned, but the Go Team was named after a house dubbed the Go Home, on Rogers street in Olympia, where Jeff Kirk lived for a while. It was called the Go Home because the older college students there were always kicking out punks who stayed overnight after the party was over. Incidentally, the house was and probably is haunted. A young woman from a well-to-do family in another state (back East?) lived there while she went to The Evergreen State College. She had a live-in boyfriend. He hid in the car port under her luxury automobile one night and then attacked her with a knife. She was found dead in the bathtub in her own blood and he was subsequently arrested and imprisoned. Most "supernatural" encounters at the Rogers house consist of blurry ectoplasmic phenomena but the woman herself has been seen entering the kitchen from the living room. The bathroom is off the kitchen, the kitchen has a backdoor which leads to where the carport was. The carport has since been turned into room although there was still a garage space, reduced, in the 1990s.
