editAlthough I can see I rated this wrongly (I think I just mis-typed), if you feel a rating is unfair in future, please apply at the project page, so that it doesn't get left unrated. strdst_grl (call me Stardust) 21:49, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
- Will bear in mind. Generally, I take no issue with how articles I worked on are rated (in either importance to the project or quality), and I consider such independent evaluations to be interesting insight; but, in this case, I figured there must have been a factual mistake. About the story origin
editI am Romanian and I do appreciate Creanga for his creativity and his heritage to the Romanian folklore. But, I think we need to admit that this story is not a Romanian story as Grimm brothers published it nearly half a century before Creanga. So, I would rather say it is published in Romanian by Creanga as an adaptation from Grimm's Fairy Tales.
This is not an original Creanga story. He added his signature to it, but I doubt this is an original piece of Romanian folklore. George Serbanut (talk) 20:26, 31 January 2023 (UTC)
