Notability
editSome reliable, secondary sources—News Release by Science World British Columbia, and articles from Vancouver is Awesome and Extravaganzi—were already cited. I have cited another source, an article from Business Insider, and removed notability tag placed by User:Bilby. —JOHNMOORofMOORLAND (talk) 11:54, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
- I'm afraid I'm going to have to return it. I don't see the tag as a bad thing - just as a means of letting editors know that some help would be appreciated. In this case, the Science World ref is a press release, so it doesn't help with notability. The new Business Insider one seems pretty decent, so that's great, but the other two seem to be self-published works - decent enough, but not much beyond blogs. Unfortunately Extravaganzi reads more like an advertisement or press release than something that can really be used to establish notability.Business Insider might be enough to pull through at AfD, but it is only really one source, and perhaps having the tag there will help point to the need for just a bit more. - Bilby (talk) 12:05, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
- OK Bilby, I see your point, but I only removed it so as not to give any wrong impression to new or test editors. Thank you. —JOHNMOORofMOORLAND (talk) 12:30, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
