Mention of other properties owned
editHi
You've replaced the comment about Baring buying Buckenham Tofts but it has no bearing on the history of the Grange. If it has you need to expand on it, at the moment it is just an irrelevant aside. Your reference to Stratton Park is not applicable as that is a local property to the Grange and the new owner of of the latter was the son of the owner of the former so does have a bearing on the history.
That's my interpretation anyway. Regards Murgatroyd49 (talk) 14:52, 13 January 2020 (UTC)
- Well I suppose if someone with one big country house buys another as a secondary residence, that's pretty relevant in many respects, for example how much time he spends at each, how much energy/budget he has to expend on the development/upkeep of each, it may perhaps express a dissatisfaction with the original house. It may also clarify the intended use of each, for example one for entertaining, one for sporting activities. All matters which make it relevant. I don't think that rationale needs stating in the article, it just seems an important fact to me. It's certainly a question that vexes me, I'd like to know why he needed three country houses. - That is more about the history of the owner than the individual property. Murgatroyd49 (talk) 15:40, 13 January 2020 (UTC)
