Plot Summary
editThe summary tells of the boy's African-American friend. Yet in the article for the film, it mentions that the main difference between the book and the film is that the boy's friend in the book was Jewish rather than an African-American. If this is so, then this article on the book should be corrected. Has anyone read the book and is able to confirm this? Kwyjibear 18:49, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

The article mentiones Toomer, Ben's african american friend, but Ben is also friends with a Jewish boy named Sammy, whom the article does not mention. A significant part of the book also shows his relationship with his younger sister, Mary Anne. 68.219.149.248 02:07, 15 October 2007 (UTC) |
