Blather and nonsense
editI found this in the start of the article and really don't understand how it could be included in this article:
"Hawthorne sets the scene in a rural notch located in an unnamed U.S. state that..."
A 'notch' is a pass at the crest of a mountain. The setting in the story is in a valley, which is much lower than a notch. I will give this two days and then change it as it is obviously nonsense. Zedshort (talk) 07:02, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
