costumes from Handmaid's Tale were used in protest both in Israel and Poland. We are talking about protest about government or parliament decisions that were considered antidemocratic by protesters. I believe this should be mentioned in the article. Clarification in Plot

The Plot section has this questionable phrase in its opening sentence: …the totalitarian, theonomic government of Gilead establishes rule in the former United States… This isn't quite accurate, since it's in present tense. This implies we see them setting up the government as part of the story. I've changed it to this: …the totalitarian, theonomic government of Gilead has established its rule in the former United States… This clarifies that its rule has already been set up as the story begins.
