Version confusion
editThanks for creating this article! I wanted to add information, but this is a tricky subject and I don't quite know how to go about it. This title refers to two different albums, really: the 1960 original, which has the first ten tracks listed, and a 1996 Sony reissue on CD. The reissue has the same title and even the same cover art as the original, but rather than containing simply the original album it compiles all three of L,H&R's Columbia albums (also including Lambert, Hendricks & Ross Sing Ellington and High Flying with L,H&R) and another seven unreleased/single tracks.
Should there be two articles for the two versions, as they're substantially different albums? Or should it begin with something along the lines of "Lambert, Hendricks, & Ross! also known as The Hottest New Group In Jazz is the name of two different releases by the vocalese trio Lambert, Hendricks & Ross: a 1960 Columbia LP, and a 1996 Sony compilation that collects all of their albums for the Columbia label." It could then go on to have separate track listings, personnel, &c.
Any suggestions? -Three white leopards 19:33, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
