Thrash metal?
editI don't think so. Could I have any source? MetalBrasil (talk) 21:16, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
- That's just totally your opinion, the song has blast beats, a guitar solo and tons of tremolo. • GunMetal Angel 22:11, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, but may I'm wrong as you are. We can find sources (that's the real deal) for Metalcore, but I fastly googled it and find nothing. Do you have any source? MetalBrasil (talk) 23:01, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
-Again; where's the source? Without a source, your edit is also your opinion. Which seems to be something you do quite a lot on wikipedia I've noticed: ignoring sources other people have provided without providing your own.
Also, you do know what thrash metal actually is, right? It:
a.doesn't have to have solos for the song to be a thrash metal song, ('Piece By Piece' by Slayer off 'Reign In Blood'has absolutely no solos whatsoever and Slayer and indeed that album are pretty much the dictionary definition of what thrash metal is)
and b.no thrash metal band or song would ever, ever have blastbeats (death metal, black metal, grindcore, metalcore, deathcore etc, yes; but certainly not thrash metal. Blastbeats didn't enter the metal musical vocabulary until later-see Napalm Death's 'Scum' documentary if you don't believe me.)
Yes, you're absolutely correct that thrash metal uses tremelo picking, but so does black metal, death metal, and a whole shedload of other genres. Hell, you even get Oi! Punk bands and hardcore punk bands that use tremelo picking. So, I'm going to ask you again; where is your source?JWULTRABLIZZARD (talk) 11:40, 25 May 2012 (UTC)
