The Hunts → The Hunts (book) – Little-known book possibly better known by its Spanish title, Las Cacerias, as compared to other things which might be known as "The Hunts", incl. things at The Hunt and things at Hunt family (disambiguation) Hyperbolick (talk) 11:02, 31 August 2024 (UTC)

I dislike the proposed target, it seems to be mostly discussed under its Spanish title so maybe just move it to Las Cacerías. PARAKANYAA (talk) 11:54, 31 August 2024 (UTC)

• Support. The book has been published in an English translation, thus English Wikipedia would be expected to indicate the book's English-language title. The proposed parenthetical qualifier — "(book)" — is opaque, but since the work is not a single "(poem)" or a "(novel)", an alternative option might be "(poetry collection)" per such main title headers as American Smooth (poetry collection), Ariel (poetry collection), Auguries of Innocence (poetry collection), Averno (poetry collection), Battlefields (poetry collection), Blood Run (poetry collection), Friendly Fire (poetry collection), Kobzar (poetry collection), Rapture (poetry collection) or The Water Table (poetry collection), to name but ten. Since there are two fairly extensive dab pages — Hunt (disambiguation) and The Hunt — the header "The Hunts" would appear to be best redirected to The Hunt dab due to its use of "The". —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 23:51, 31 August 2024 (UTC)
• Oppose as unnecessary WP:OVERPRECISION. Nothing on The Hunt dab page could reasonably be titled The Hunts. This article is averaging 1 view per day, so no one is getting lost here. Station1 (talk) 07:15, 1 September 2024 (UTC)

    But redirecting The Hunts to The Hunt would not solve that issue, because The Hunt doesn't even list Hunt family (disambiguation). The thing to do would be to simply add a hatnote to this article pointing to Hunt family (disambiguation). - Station1 (talk) 16:07, 1 September 2024 (UTC)

Since the poetry collection does not appear to be primary for "The Hunts", I would also support, if preferred by consensus, an alternative option of redirecting The Hunts to the Hunt family (disambiguation) page. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 17:42, 1 September 2024 (UTC)

• Oppose there is no evidence that people are being confused by the existence of this article, and the pageviews are so low it doesn't appear to be a problem, and thus this move would be WP:OVERPRECISION. TiggerJay (talk) 05:13, 18 September 2024 (UTC)
  • Comment it seems like this article might even fail WP:BK as notable. And thus it would solve this issue altogether if we simply AfD. Upon success, I would support making the family primary target. Pages views (depending on the time window) appear to show that these two are equally "popular" targets at around 1 to 2 average views per day. TiggerJay (talk) 05:18, 18 September 2024 (UTC)
