There is also a William Golding novel (1955) of the same name. We need disambiguation here. -- Alan Peakall 18:54, 2 Dec 2003 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:JC&FMB TheInheritors.jpg

edit

Image:JC&FMB TheInheritors.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 10:07, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Cleanup

This article is a mess. Someone seriously needs to organize it.--StevenFurtado 04:11, 7 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

It doesn't seem to be about the novel (and I'm working my way through that at the moment). I was about to take out the POV and personal experience stuff from the article when it seems the article is relying on the book to discuss classes of vampires today. Is this supposed to be in an article on vampires, instead? When I've read it, I'll write the plot of the novel itself. Julia Rossi (talk) 05:50, 16 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
The novel doesn't mention Vampires at all, and uses the metaphor of the fourth dimension to explain a shift from a generation of people who have values to a generation who believe in expediency, supreme political power, and bringing down the old order. So if nobody minds, I'll take out the vampire based text, just so people understand I'm not blanking the article. Julia Rossi (talk) 00:34, 18 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

No longer stub?

edit

Since it's relevant to the novel now, feel this article is no longer stub class. Can someone change it, please? Julia Rossi (talk) 10:41, 25 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

I did. Julia Rossi (talk) 05:29, 5 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
