Diane and Sally Wilson

edit

In the first season of the series, Dee is addressed three times as "Mrs. Wilson" -- once by a reporter in the episode entitled "Picnic With Death," once by Sally's schoolmistress and later by Sally's kidnapper in "Bank Raid." All episodes from the first season are available on archive.org . Tommyksankyu (talk) 08:40, 22 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

I checked my VHS of six early episodes and found that, despite various sources applying the name Brady to Dee and Sally, it did not happen in those episodes (dialog or on-screen credits, the latter having just "Diane" and "Sally"), and as I conceded in my edit summary when I reverted you, their surname shouldn't be Brady. And thanks for the heads-up for the online availability! --Ted Watson (talk) 20:35, 22 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

The naked invisible man

edit

Sometime about 1963-64, someone objected to this series on the grounds that, in some scenes, the invisible man if portrayed as a suit of clothes without a visible body therein, and in other scenes, the portrayal consisted of objects moving, doors opening and closing, and perhaps footprints appearing, all without anything else being visible. The obvious conclusion was that in the later type of scenes, the invisible man had to be naked, or else his non-invisible clothes would be seen. 69.29.207.109 (talk) 18:07, 29 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

  • Hmm, dialogue in the series refers to Brady's "invisible clothes", suggesting that he is clothed throughout the series, sometimes visibly and when unseen in his invisible clothes. (Though his labcoat etc.. doesn't disappear in the opening of the first episode) The dialogue covers the nudity aspect/complaint.81.111.127.132 (talk) 11:58, 8 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
  • In the unaired pilot it implies he is naked by his sneezing and complaint that it was freezing. In the broadcast pilot in the pre title sequence his lab coat shirt and presumebly his trousers and and under clothes disappear as well. Late he explains to Diane his clothes made of wool and animal fibre became invisible too. So no need for a xxx certificate!! REVUpminster (talk) 13:44, 8 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
