This article should not be speedy deleted as being about a subject that was invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally and for lack of asserted importance, because...it relates to an important academic research project on extractive industries in Central America relevant to a wide range of actors with a baring on economic, environmental and social development in the region and beyond. However, as a newcomer to Wikipedia editing I realise I may have caused some confusion as I tried to paste the article into this space from the Draft article which I had created previously. I had not realised that original article was pending review but thought I had failed to publish it correctly. My main concern is that the article (which is the same text as the draft) is reviewed and ultimately available on Wikipedia. I am challenging the speedy deletion in case this means the deletion of the the whole article under review rather than just this attempt to publish the article which I now realise contravened Wikipedia rules.
