There is a heck of a lot of namedropping in this article. The notability of a hotel should not be based on passing mentions of famous people staying there. Especially since the resort provided financial incentives to celebrities staying there, in exchange for endorsements. The whole scheme was corrupt and those types of endorsements should not be included in a neutral encyclopedia article. Cullen328 (talk) 04:46, 5 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Interesting. I see the namedropping more as a historical documentation of the hotel's past and what the sources say, rather than an argument for notability of the hotel itself. I also thought that the disclosure that the hotel initially comped celebrities to stay there made it more transparent that this was a marketing tactic. That said, I will keep your feedback in mind in editing further; I think further expansion about other aspects of the hotel's history will help in making it more than just about who stayed there. This article is still a work in progress and has a long way to go. Cielquiparle (talk) 05:57, 5 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
