When Fry-Cadbury withdrew its sponsorship in 1963, having made the decision to transfer its advertising budget to film commercials on the newly established television service Telefis Eireann, Fry-Cadbury sold the rights to RTE for the the sum of one pound allowing Radio Éireann to bow to popular demand and retain the serial as part of its regular programming. An anonymous editor with no User page has expanded this article with details that are not supported by reliable references. Because I suspect they are original research I removed these edits. However the editor reverted my deletions and rather than continue an edit war I have added a template to the article. I hope that this will alert a more experienced third party to intervene and resolve the matter.Jim Bruce (talk) 19:44, 2 January 2023 (UTC)
