Notability
editThe notability of this award is currently unclear, since no secondary sources are cited. By the notability criteria for organizations, independent reliable sources are required to make sure that the subject is notable. These sources might be press coverage about the award, or books in which it is mentioned. Please cite such sources in the article. Currently, it only refers to the homepage of the award, which is not independent.
Also, the article would best contain mor information about the award itself, rather than being a listing of people who won the award (cf. WP:NOT#DIR).
For the time being, I am replacing the “importance” tag with “notability”. Sorted as part of the Notability wikiproject. --B. Wolterding 18:52, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
Have tracked down references to the award in the Bulletin magazine - given that this is a national award for comic book art and publishing it is an important enough article. Dan arndt 06:01, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
