Pronunciation
editI'm sure there must be regional American accents where these words do not rhyme, but "straws" and "claws" rhyme with "Oz" for me (speaking with a Canadian accent). How are these three words pronounced so that they don't rhyme? Adam Bishop 03:35, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
- I think that they rhyme no matter what your accent is. The words with which Oz doesn't quite rhyme for me are the la-di-dahs, tra-la-las and "brahz" but I can see that they do rhyme with Oz for a lot of English-speakers so that's okay. -- Derek Ross | Talk 20:39, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
Nutting Girl
editIs this song based on the English folk song "The Nutting Girl"? It sounds very similar to me but I can't find any references to this. Here is a version of it: [1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.11.2.177 (talk) 13:02, 19 September 2013 (UTC)
