This article needs some work to make it acceptable. I've done what I can with spellings, grammer and tenses but I don't know enough background. If a contributor would care to write what it is they want to say and/or direct me to the source material (as long as it is in English) I will gladly help.
I'm afraid I was not able to edit the following paragraph; The Miners Association of Cornwall & Devon following it formation it started the formation of classes in different mining areas of Cornwall to address the kills shortage of its mining comunity. as I am uncertain what the intention is. I think it should read skills shortage, but perhaps it is referring to the hazardous work of mining and that shortage is the incorrect word.
Your call.LessHeard vanU 20:50, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
- Much of this material is covered in the Camborne School of Mines article, so it needs to have good (verified) information seperate from that piece. Perhaps it would be best if this article forms part of the history of the CSM article?LessHeard vanU 21:03, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
- I have tried to rearange the text on this page to better describe the Association, it still needs some considerable work to complete this artical, which i will continue to do.<this comment was written by user: Cheveney but not signed.>
- It looks a lot better. I have been tidying up some grammer and stuff. A little suggestion; assume your reader knows nothing about the subject and give them background info. You and I know that Cornwall and Devon are in the south west of England, but some people may never of even heard of the Counties. ps. Always signed your comments by typing a tilde "~" four times, as it gives a time/date code as well as your name. Good work, anyway.LessHeard vanU 21:23, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
- It is looking really good. Great work (ps. Did you know there is a mine in the west Kerrier area called Greatwork?)LessHeard vanU 20:24, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
- Greatwork i have not heard of it but it may form part of a greater mining block, i have a book with all the mines in i will have a look! can't see it mentioned, do you know more about the location? Cheveney 14:14, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
- This is a very late reply; Great Work is in Kerrier, to the east of Godolphin - south of Godolphin Hill.LessHeard vanU 12:40, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
