Tidy up

edit

OK this has been moved over from the main Montauk Project entry as it was editted to be purely about the book. However, it does need cleaning up. I mentioned some of this on the Montauk Project talk page but thought it best to open up the discussion here too. What I'd suggst is moving some of the material back to the main entry so this is purely focused on the books. I'm going to lift the mentions of the X Files and Eternal Sunshine and put it in a media section. Any other ideas? (Emperor 17:05, 6 May 2006 (UTC))Reply

How about some references? Like, even one reference?? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 47.158.24.55 (talk) 17:55, 4 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Montauk-project-book.jpg

edit

Image:Montauk-project-book.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

time travel conceit

edit

What's the time travel conceit ? RJFJR (talk) 14:13, 25 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

A literary conceit is a premise that is treated as true for the purposes of creating the reality that a novel is set in, particularly when this premise is used as a framing device. Time travel means that the proper time of a physical body and that of its immediate surroundings exhibit a discontinuity. 2A01:CB0C:CD:D800:65C6:12C9:B6E6:A9A3 (talk) 08:56, 8 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
