I can see no reason why the track listing of the album should have been removed as "copyrighted material". This is nonsense and the listing should be restored. Skinsmoke 17:47, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

Different band

Jug Band Music b/w Bald Headed Woman (1966 Sidewalk 900) ** this is a different group also called Mugwumps **

Were Cass and Denny in the Mugwumps same time as M&Ps?

The releases listed for this band came two years after Cass and Denny joined the Mamas and Papas and a couple years after Sebestian formed the Lovin' Spoonful, too. Were these 1967 releases a case of unreleased material being issued due to its members becoming famous elsewhere or is this more correctly categorized as a side gig? 136.159.160.122 (talk) 21:43, 27 August 2019 (UTC)

The top of their pictured album reads "An Historic Recording Late Summer of '64..." So this is a later release of material recorded earlier. DougHill (talk) 20:54, 28 October 2019 (UTC)

Probably best to remain with a dab then. I would weakly support the original proposal, as the band are exclusively known with "The" while the activists are not, but overall maybe nothign to choose between them.  — Amakuru (talk) 14:44, 10 May 2024 (UTC)

I agree. pageviews are relatively similar over 90 days with a small recent bump for the band, probably an album release or something definitely something other than a release, I just noticed the years active lol. ASUKITE 15:14, 10 May 2024 (UTC)

• I don't think redirecting to Mugwumps is a good idea, especially when Wikinav picks up 105 incoming pageviews from it to Mugwump (disambiguation) and zero outgoing pageviews to Mugwumps.
