Slave trading and France
editAccording to French Wikipedia https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commerce_triangulaire French traders only arrived on the African coast in 1674, in which case the episode featuring Bonnaire as a slave trader active in the triangular trade is grossly anachronistic. - Have to take it up with the writers. If they choose to include a flying saucer in a story it would have to be reflected in the summary. Which soap did that, Dallas, Dynesty, Colbys. Editors cannot comment on a subject in the article but if you can find a comment that can be cited it can be included in the reception section. REVUpminster (talk) 16:23, 5 February 2014 (UTC)

- Just to point out that the above facebook page would not appear to be the official page for the show, which is actually located here -- https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Musketeers-BBC-TV-Show/222011417938622 The facebook page mentioned above seems merely to be a fan page. --♦Tangerines♦·Talk 04:36, 11 February 2014 (UTC)
- All the summaries are copypasted from the Radio Times or Cultbox. I have been rewriting them after the episode has aired which I did with "Commodoties". This copypasting is happening on nearly all British series and I rewrite them on the series I am interested in. I am always pointing out you cannot have a summary that asks a question in an encyclopedia and that is always a good clue that something has been copypasted. - I have just looked at the facebook page and that was copied from Wikipedia on the 5 February AFTER it appeared here.REVUpminster (talk) 07:30, 11 February 2014 (UTC)
- Wow. I'm very sorry. I thought I had checked the dates to make sure that we weren't the ones being copied, but clearly I was mistaken. Thanks for the clarifications. Mz7 (talk) 20:07, 11 February 2014 (UTC)
- Just make sure that you aren't directly copying the content from the sources you are using. Always write in your own words! Mz7 (talk) 20:16, 11 February 2014 (UTC)
- Actually, I think that they are being copied from the BBC, such as this. If all the info we've got is by copying websites, we shouldn't copy. Matty.007 20:30, 11 February 2014 (UTC)

I'd like to know if or where American viewers may watch this series.
Any thoughts?
During the viewing of Ripper Street, BBC America revealed that The Musketeers will premiere in the U.S. in June 2014.
