Edited incorrect Herald.News and changed to Herald.Wales

Categories - "Newspapers with Scottish Gaelic content"

Why would a newspaper based in, and serving, Wales have Scottish Gaelic content, which practically no-one in the country would understand? Culloty82 (talk) 12:38, 3 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Revival?

edit

Just noticed thenational.wales is back up, but not sure if it is the same company or a new company that purchased the branding of the former site? (logo slightly different) It's articles seem more explanatory for education than journalism rn? (There is 5 news articles though, but simple) Does not seem to be the same organisation initially, and only two writers. (Hopes it does well ofc, Wales needs more media, but seems not the same as the one that existed before)

I don't believe it is the same publication, so best remain this article as "was" etc. DankJae 21:16, 1 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Appears the site has been transferred to a fake website in Latin? so I guess not revived, unless this an error. The short "revival" looked a bit AI generated or at least not journalistic, clearly not the same company nonetheless. DankJae 02:41, 13 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Appears back up as "The National 2.0". The website makes clear it isn't associated with Newsquest (This website was previously associated with Newsquest Media Group Ltd) so should not inherit the notability of the previous publication as they seem to be fully separate but the name and url merely bought.
This article is about the Newsquest publication. The new one should not be in this article, but made separate if deemed to also be notable. Unless independent sources connect the two and state this as a revival and described to be as reputable? DankJae 20:58, 2 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
