Formula
editThe beginning of this entry says it's Cu-Sb, but further on and Nova's episode on Newton's alchemy say it is Cu-Fe. Which is it? On a related note, if Cu-Fe, how does it relate to bornite? --Belg4mit 21:07, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
Re notability
editI have found quite a few sources talking about "the net" substance in the context of Newton's chemical and alchemical work, so I think it's pretty clearly notable. Vultur (talk) 02:52, 4 November 2009 (UTC)
- I would tend to agree. I wonder if the information couldn't be moved to a subsection of the article for whatever substance the Net would be in modern chemistry. The Formula comment makes me wonder if there's more than one copper compound that can go by this name, though. In that case, I guess "the Net" might refer more to the pattern than the substance (from the stance of modern chemistry) and maybe it should keep its own article.
