If any of you have waded through the morass of nuevo-cybertech verbiage of the novel, what does any of it have to do with axolotls, an endangered amphibian species? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I need to know so I can convince friends to read the novel and watch the Netflix series. Much Thanks. 99.40.67.246 (talk) 20:31, 3 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
WP:NOTAFORUM, better ask on credit or such. IIRC it's an off hand reference somewhere in the text. Just like another one which inspired the Netflix show. Sadly, Netflix show has almost nothing to do with the original story (it just takes a short paragraph, almost a footnote, from the prologue and uses it to build an entire show). --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here14:28, 4 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
