The President (character) → The President (Rick and Morty) – First of all, great job to whoever created this article. I never would have imagined that a side character who only appears in 5 episodes of a 50 episode tv show would get such a well-made article; but here we are with 18 reliable sources that the character has had a positive reception. However, "The President_(character)" is way too general of a name that can too easily apply to other fictional presidents. - Support. Clearly neither the only character known as The President nor even the primary topic. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:48, 11 August 2021 (UTC)
- Support per the nomination and User:Necrothesp. The current disambiguation doesn't do much to address ambiguity.--Yaksar (let's chat) 16:28, 11 August 2021 (UTC)
- Support for specificity. There are characters named "the President" in other works of fiction too. JIP | Talk 00:37, 13 August 2021 (UTC)
Seems like a decent consensus to rename for clairty. Should I place this in at Wikipedia:Requested moves/Technical requests? Unnamed anon (talk) 23:24, 13 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Unnamed anon: I removed that request due to the fact that the request wasn't technical. The requested move should be allowed to run for a full seven days as per the guidelines, at which time an uninvolved user will determine consensus and make actions accordingly, whether that is moving or not moving the page. This will happen any time after 07:30 18 August. Thanks! D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 03:11, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
