Too promotional
editI've added the Template:Peacock to flag the promotional content in much of this article. The following sections especially need work, so as to not sound like they were written by the network's marketing department:
- The_Real_Housewives_of_Miami#Premise
- The_Real_Housewives_of_Miami#Current_housewives
- The_Real_Housewives_of_Miami#Former_housewives
The_Real_Housewives_of_Miami#Season_1:_2011

No longer applicable. It turned out that all of the offending material violated both WP:COPYVIO and WP:NOTPROMO, so I removed it and the no-longer-needed template. --Hobbes Goodyear (talk) 04:48, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
- Looks like the bios were copied from Bravo's website. [1] —Mike Allen 03:49, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads-up. --Hobbes Goodyear (talk) 04:48, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
- The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is the same way and I'm sure some of the other articles are too. —Mike Allen 06:35, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- You are right, but there seems to be active editing going on at the other articles that is reducing both the COPYVIO and PROMO issues. If the editors with an interest in these articles can transform the offending material into something legit, then I think that's a better solution than me just axing it, so I'd like to give them that chance. I've made a note to myself to check back, though. --Hobbes Goodyear (talk) 12:44, 9 December 2011 (UTC)

Edit warring about red X's or blanks
edit- Support blanks. There seems to be a long-term edit war going on as to whether "housewives" who do not appear in a given season should be represented by a red X or a blank within The_Real_Housewives_of_Miami#Housewife_history. I have not participated in these edits, but I'd like to see the warring stop. I support the current state of the page, which is to use blanks, as this looks less visually noisy to me. Please do not change this section again until consensus is reached on this issue. --Hobbes Goodyear (talk) 11:24, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
Cancellation
editI think it's safe to say the show's been cancelled --Loose Rap (talk) 12:56, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
- It does seem the show is not coming back but we cannot say it's cancelled when there is no news from the network. It is a bit annoying when it comes to Bravo since they never announce their shoes cancellations.. Mymis (talk) 22:13, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
Ana Quincoces as a friend or guest
editI was personally sure Ana Quincoces was a friend in the final season, however we often resort to the Bravo site for confirmation for cast details. On their official page, http://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-miami/about for The Real Housewives of Miami, Ana Quincoces isn't listed as a friend but Marysol is. Should we follow suit and just update her as a guest? Kelege (talk) 22:31, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
- The source (network press release) cited in the article ([2]) says both Patton and Quincoces were in a recurring capacity. Mymis (talk) 00:13, 12 August 2016 (UTC)
- Mymis, oh right thanks for that. Moving forward with keeping her as a friend, is there anyway to stop the consistent changing of it? Kelege (talk) 04:40, 26 August 2016 (UTC)
FWIW, I don't think just because someone appeared in episodes that they are a "Friend". She didn't get any confessionals or anything. She appeared at a couple events, so did Karent. I'd consider her a guest. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.91.53.213 (talk) 21:12, 23 May 2022 (UTC)
Overview and Casting
editI would separate this section into seasons one, two and three, and elaborate on them within their respective paragraphs. Also, the show's cancelling should have its own section titled Cancellation. The current format looks like one block and there is no variation. Three references such as 19, 20, and 21 cannot be found. Also, I would include pictures of the cast members from season one and two since you mention them in the text. Rodam0892 (talk) 02:19, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
