Notes
editHi Menright01, here are my notes:
- The article needs some editing for flow. It's not bad, it just needs to be tweaked some. I've done a little editing to this end with the lead.
- It needs more sourcing that specifically covers the Relf sisters, if possible. If you can find anything about their later life, that would be good to add.
- The sections "Involuntary Sterilization of Women of Color" and "Involuntary Sterilization of Mentally Disabled" are too general for an article about specific people. The applicable information should be worked into the article itself akin to how similar information is worked into the article for Carrie Buck, who was also involuntarily sterilized. On a side note, the general topic of the involuntary sterilization of African-American women in the US would definitely be something to explore further for another article, if you're interested.
Overall the info here is good and the sourcing is fine, it just needs to be worked on a bit more. I'm really glad that you're working on this, to be honest. I don't think many people are really aware that horrible things like this happened so recently in the United States and these two sisters definitely merit an article on Wikipedia. Let me know on my talk page if you need any help with this! Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 21:22, 21 March 2018 (UTC)

The Relf Sisters → Relf sisters – Per the naming conventions on capitalization, "sisters" should not be capitalized. And as per WP:THE, there should not be "the" at the beginning. See Koch family, Wright brothers, etc. BappleBusiness[talk] 23:43, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
