Orphaned references in The Ring (Chuck)
editI check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of The Ring (Chuck)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
Reference named "dossiers":
- From List of minor Chuck characters: NBC.com Spy Dossiers
- From Operation Bartowski Supervisors: Spy Dossiers, nbc.com/chuck
- From Stephen J. Bartowski: NBC.com: Spy Dossiers
- From Sarah Walker (Chuck): NBC.com: Spy Dossiers
I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 04:11, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
Leadership
editWho is higher ranking: the Ring Elders or The Director? In my mind, the Director is like the President, Ring Elders are like a Congress, and the other Ring leadership (example: Colonel Keller) are like Governors (not to be confused with governors). Any thoughts? --Boycool42 (talk) 21:20, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
- Unfortunately we don't have enough information to make a guess on that, as we don't even have a clear picture of the Ring's hierarchy. This is complicated by the fact that Shaw described the Ring as being cell-based, which means individual cells could still be operating even without the central leadership in place.
- I wish certain elements of the Ring and Fulcrum had been made clearer. We know they both wanted the Intersect, but not specifically what they intended to do with it. We know the Ring wanted Allejandro Goya dead and unable to implement democratic elections in Costa Gavras, and their own goal of directly infiltrating the upper echelons of the CIA, but not WHY. World domination? Some sort of Illuminati-esque conspiracy? Ambaryer (talk) 23:04, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
- In my mind, Cell=State, so Ring operatives like Colonel Keller are like governors. --Boycool42 (talk) 02:03, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
- Until we get more information from the series on the hierarchy there's nothing more to add to the article. Ambaryer (talk) 13:19, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
