Motto

edit

The motto of the school may be "Nisi Dominus Frustra - Strength through Caring", but the English phrase isn't a translation of the Latin. If the school's motto is the (much more common) "Nisi Dominus Frustra" then the English tranlsation is literally "In vain unless the Lord", an allusion to the 127th Psalm: "Unless the Lord build the house, they that build it labour in vain". See List of Latin phrases (F–O). Richard Pinch 20:44, 22 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Swimming Pool

edit

They money for the pool was not donated by Sir Jack. It was donated by Hilda's husband, Sir Charles.

The new pool was not opened in June: Price Edward opened it in Septemeber - even then, it was not actually able to be used until Novemeber. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.150.153.107 (talk) 19:55, 8 April 2007 (UTC).Reply

According to this link the new pool was opened in September 2006, the old one was destroyed in February 2005. If you have information that is more accurate then please edit the article accordingly. Unknown Unknowns 10:27, 11 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

The school's website claims that Steph Bailey has taken over from Timothy Waters as headmaster. --86.128.168.77 (talk) 11:51, 14 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Nice to know Steph Bailey has taken over at least he isn't pompus and is a nice guy. He should have a better idea how to run the school. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.73.107.250 (talk) 11:48, 30 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
